Concordance and functional dictionary of Tezkire-i Şuarâ-yı Cezîre-i Girid

Tezkires, which are the main sources of Classical Turkish Literature, contain important information about the lives of poets as well as examples of their works. XVI. in the Anatolian field. Hanyavî has five works that he wrote apart from his Divan. One of them is Tezkire-i Şuarâ-yı Cezire-i Girid. Nûrî Osman Hanyavî has included the biographies of nineteen poets, who are generally from Crete like himself, and examples from the works of these names. Two copies of the work, one in the Corum Hasan Pasha Provincial Public Library and the other in the German National Library, Turkish Manuscripts Ms.or.quart, with the title "Dustûr" have survived. In this study, within the scope of TEBDİZ project, Prof. Dr. A contextual index and functional dictionary of the transcription tezkire text prepared by Orhan Kurtoğlu has been prepared. The main reason for choosing the subject is the absence of any previous contextual index and functional dictionary work on Nuri Osman Hanyavî's tezkire. This study is the first review and comprehensive dictionary study on the work other than the publication of the text. The aim is to introduce the work, as well as to reveal the vocabulary and world of meaning of the work and to examine the work. With the analysis made on the work, the qualifying terms of poetry and poet in the tezkire, the information given about the main profession and / or duties of the poets mentioned in the tezkire, and the prayer sentences in the tezkire were evaluated. XVIII. It will contribute as a source among the works of the 19th century, and the study on the vocabulary of the work will constitute a basis for especially style and comparison studies.
