Abstract (EN)

Besides to entertaining a large mass with the fictive expression, literature and movie medias have helped to convey their thoughts and feels as being voice of the public often. Literary work and other branches of art of the different societies started to be examined with the acceleration of comparative literature studies. As a result of these examinations, it is noteworthy that different societies have focussed on similar problems. This situation provide a basis for making the comprasion within the "collective subject" and "collective motiv." In this study, what we will examine the literature which is a literary media, with the movie media, we will examine the dike motive in Theodor Storm's Novel named Der Schimmelreiter and the bridge motive in the Köprü movie writed by Ahmet Üstel and directed by Şerif Gören as comparatively for thinking that they serve a similar purposes. Although these two Works, we have studied in this study, occur in different periods and geographies have thematic similarities. In this context we will examine how it is conveyed that the themes as traditional and modern society conflicts and conflicts of interest with the dike and bridge motives which we have identified as collective motive under the guidance of comperative literatür.
