Abstract (EN)
Effects of powdered thymol, Thymovar and Apiguard for the control of the honey bee parasitic mite Varroa destructor and colony growth parameters were evaluated in this research. The best results were obtained with powdered thymol (92.03%) and in Thymovar (83.60%). The efficacy of Apiguard was 76.08%. Applications of powdered thymol and thymol active ingredient products used in this research did not show any negative effects on the brood area and bee populations.
