Determination of sustainable project success factors ofcommercial recreation enterprises

Commercial recreation businesses aim to achieve success by aiming to remain sustainable in every project they undertake. However, it is very difficult for them to achieve this with only their own knowledge and experience. A good plan and strategy is an absolute must for achieving the right goals and for commercial recreation businesses to be successful. The fact that specific success factors for commercial recreation businesses have not been determined in the literature causes the businesses to not be supported scientifically. In this context, the aim of the research is to determine sustainable project success factors in commercial recreation enterprises. The model of the research is case study. The population of the research consists of managers and employees of businesses providing commercial recreation services. Using criterion-based sampling and snowball sampling techniques, managers and staff of businesses providing at least one of nine different commercial recreation service organizations were included in the sample. Lawshe technique was used to prepare the interview questions, semi-structured interview was used as data collection technique, and content analysis technique was used for analysis. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews, 58 codes were revealed and 10 themes were reached: planning, problems, solution suggestions, analysis environments, sustainability practices, challenges of competition, sustainability strategies, competition strategies, sustainability and innovation advantages and manager's perspective. As a result of the research, sustainable project success factors in commercial recreation enterprises; It has been determined as paying attention to key points during the planning stage, producing solutions to possible problems, taking into account the difficult situations of competition, determining competitive strategies, ensuring the formation of sustainable competitive advantage applications and creating sustainability strategies. .
