Typography and typography of 20 yy. interaction with aftermodern art streams

The post-twentieth century typography, cubism, futurism, dadaism, constructivism, suprematism, together with the influence of the designs and artworks produced by the Bauhaus School and the De Stijl entourage, interacted with modern painting, poetry and layout. Thus, typography has undergone a great change in its form language and visual communication tool. The new trend that emerged as a result of this was named "New Typography" by the artists. In the first part of this study, the definition of typography, its development and the stages of change and development in the historical process are explained. It is intended to convey how writing is shaped and developed among societies. In addition, the changes and advances in typography since the founding of the printing house in the west have been invastigated and Until today, general structural features of typographic language in graphic design have been explained. In the second stage, the modern art movements after the twentieth century and the works of these movements and their artists have been invastigated. It has also been observed how the movements are effectively included in the works of art of typography. The influence of modern art movements in the formation of the new typography has been invastigated, which has become designs that we can see even today. In the last part of this thesis phase, the important developments that Jan Tschichold and the New Typography understanding provided to typography and the new formation that many artists have brought to the new typographic language are invastigated.
