The relationship between thyroid functions and serum Angiopoietin-like protein 3, leptin and visfatin levels.

Thyroid dysfunction is associated with changes in body weight, thermogenesis, food intake and energy expenditure. Nowadays abnormal thyroid function is accepted to be associated with the disordered production of hormones released by adipose tissue such as leptin and visfatin.
