Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to investigate drug resistance, which is one of the biggest problems in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The data we obtained in K562 resistant lower column K562-Ir cells produced in our previous studies is remarkable. As it is known, miRNAs are involved in many processes from cell proliferation to death, from differentiation to communication. These molecules, which have an important place in cellular processes, are extremely important for the organism to continue its life in a healthy way. The first of these systems is the immune system. From this point of view, in our study, unlike the literature, the relationship between microRNA (miRNA) and natural killer cells (NK) is emphasized. All kinds of information and observations that can be added to the literature by investigating the effect of miRNA in the development of primary drug resistance in CML have the potential to be a therapeutic target in the treatment of CML. Our research project will contribute to the general field of cell biology as well as reaching findings that may shed light on an important problem in CML therapy, such as primary resistance.
