Abstract (EN)
As a result of deepending of open pits, dumping distances increase. Dumping distance defines the hauling cost. Hauling cost is factor on determination of the maximum working depth of the pit. To lower hauling cost, mobil crusher ? conveyor systems have been used instead of conventional systems, excavator ? truck haulage, recently. By this way, the economic open pit depths are changed. In this thesis, a general knowledge about crusher ? belt conveyor systems, application examples, and applicability of this system at ELI (Aegean Lignite Establishmets) ? Eynez open pits are considered. The result of this study, the operation cost and unit cost of truck haulage have been determined as 34.635.927 $/year and 2,306 $/m³ respectively. On the other and, the operation cost and unit cost of truck ? crusher ? belt conveyor have been concluded as 28.693.497 $/year and 1,912 $/m³ respectively.
