Abstract (EN)

In this study, among the almond genotypes in the almond (Prunus amygdalus L.) population areas growing naturally in the central district of Tokat, primarily sweet and productive genotypes with good fruit quality were selected. In the research conducted in 2022, 49 genotypes were identified, and 9 of them were selected as the genotypes with the best characteristics. The shell weight of the selected 49 almond genotypes ranged between 1.74-6.71 g, kernel weight between 0.40-1.09 g, and kernel yield between %16.02-31.63. The fruit yields were high, and the kernel weights were determined to be between 0.97-3.09 g. The average fruit width of the genotypes ranged between 12.9-24.51 mm, fruit length between 26.39-38.39 mm, and fruit cheek thickness between 10.05- 16.37 mm.
