Abstract (EN)
In this study, Tokat songs which were reached by TRT Turkish Folk Music Repertory and other written sources and Tokat songs which were reached by source people were brought together and classified according to folklore methods by studying them from literary and musical aspects. Tokat scientific study has not been done until this time. The first aim of the investigation is to present a scientific study by bringing together the texts of Tokat belonging to Turkey regularly. The first aim of the investigation is to present a scientific study by bringing the lyrics of Tokat songs together within an order. Via this study, by classifying the folk songs of the region of Tokat, a step has been taken for the other studies to be done in the future in Turkish folklore researches. The history, geographic characteristics and cultural status of Tokat has been given to provide a better understanding. As a study on Turkish songs has been done, information about the definition and history of the Turkish songs has been given. In our study, one hundred and ninety seven lyrics were reached in our study through collecting lyrics of Turkish songs of Tokat region which are present in TRT Turkish Folk Music Repertory and written sources, and which were reached via source people. In this hundred and ninety-seven texts, all metered and unmetered folk song of the region of Tokat are found. The most important purpose of the investigation is to analyze and classify Tokat songs in terms of form and structure. In this study, Tokat songs were sorted according to their shapes through analysis and detection of their shapes. The subjects of folk songs were examined in terms of their location and melodies as well. In the last part of the study, the words belonging to the region were given by the dictionary. The names of all folk songs in the examination are listed in alphabetical order and presented in the index work. Key Words: Muzaffer Sarısözen, Tokat Songs, Tokat Folk Music, Salih Turhan
