Abstract (EN)

In the limitation of total quality management, it is argued that whether performance evaluation has effects on employees' job satisfaction or not.In the first chapter of the thesis, the concepts of total quality and total quality management have been explained. The definitions of quality, the historical development of quality understanding, total quality management concepts, their importance and the process of their formation concepts have been examined.Also in this chapter, the performance evaluation concept is explained. In addition to its historical development and descriptions, it is mentioned that the aims, using areas, benefits, importance, the evaluation?s difficulties and methods of performance evaluation.The second chapter has continued with the topic of job satisfaction and it is mentioned that which factors are effective on job satisfaction.In the third chapter, it is explained theorically that performance evaluation's effects on job satisfaction.The last chapter consists of a survey applied in an organization which is in the automotive sector and products space parts, aiming to find the performance evaluation?s effects on job satisfaction.
