Abstract (EN)

The success of the enterprises at the increasing competitive atmosphere with emerging fact ?globalization? contingent upon coefficients such as quality, price and velocity. At this devastating competitive atmosphere, the enterprises that offers qualified, low-cost products and services rapidly in a sufficiently diverse way, gain the vantage. The method of proceeding in aforementioned environment is the philosophy of Total Quality Management (TQM)The philosophy of Total Quality Management focuses on humanity and the employer satisfaction is vital. The department which is directly responsible for the employer satisfaction in the company is Human Resource. Therefore the human resource executives should be loyal on the rules of business ethics along the whole functions of the department and should respect to this concept.When employees perceive that the executives behave ethically in the human resource functions, they would be delighted with working in that company, their performance increases, implementing their participation to the Total Quality Management becomes easy and therefore organizational performance increases. In this context there is a strict bound among executives? behavior about human resource functions and supporting the Total Quality Management activities by employees and organizational performance.In this study there are two parts which are theoretic and practical. At the first section of the theoretic part; the entire perspectives of the concept of ethics and business ethics have been approached briefly, at the second section Total Quality Management and The Implementation of Total Quality Management; at the third section, the concepts of performance and organizational performance have been explicated. At the practical part, survey method has been implemented to the 60 bank branches which are in İzmir and appropriated the Total Quality approach. It has been analyzed with the questionnaire; if it has affected the employees? support about Total Quality Management Implementation and the organizational performance or not, when the executives behave ethically in the human resource functions; if it has, on which direction it has affected and then the results have been evaluated on tables.Keywords: Ethics, Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, Performance, Organizational Performance, Total Quality Management
