Abstract (EN)
In this study, the patients with hiperlipidemic who apply to cardiology clinic of Turgut Özal Medical Center to total Cholesterol, LDL, Triglyceride and HDL levels according to age by estimating different regression models to determine the exchange. They were analyzed by linear and nonlinear regression models for this purpose.Linear regression models are models where the parameters appear linearly, whereas in nonlinear models parameters appear nonlinearly.Correctness of the predictions gains much more importance for the models to be used in medicine as an error in such models may contain high risks for individuals.Goodness of fit of the models was determined by mean square error HKO information criterions and determination coefficient values. Interpretations were evaluated by using statistical results.
