Housing development administration?s (TOKİ) environmental regulation applications examination in terms of landscape architecture

The need for housing which is one of the most basic needs of human, is possible by providing achievable types of housing in order to meet today's market conditions by people of every income level. Housing development structures, that are containing a combination of various cultures and communities designed to meet the needs of all income level of people, are changing and improving in this process while interacting with its in itself usage and near surrounding. In this context, house and its surround relationship will be analyzed.In this study, the open green spaces, around the TOKI?s housing development places, the importance of reaching outer place standarts that presents environmental quality in the open green spaces around the housing development area with determining a road map will be put forward. In addition to these, the reasons to be preferred with emphasis of environmental regulation work in these areas will be examined in the line of planning objectives. In the light of landscape design principles, how the lands are shaped especially before the landscape application period and what the considerations are while planning and design, what kind of way is used during application, what challenges will be faced and how they are solved will be examined in this study.After application process, how the maintenance is done this stages are, will be studied in Ankara?s two housing development region, both of which are Yapracık Position 9th Region and Ankara Yenimahalle Pamuklar Position Slum Transformation Region, in detail in terms of landscape architecture with landscape design principles approach and will be tried to suggest proposals.Aim of this study is to notice TOKI?s approach, treat and application to the issue that TOKI has been doing applications and has been playing an important role in housing issue since housing problem is increasingly gaining importance in Turkey.Actually required question of this study is people prefer a place to just live or a place to be happy in a living environment.
