In this study, the reasons of the formation of housing as a housing unit, the spatial characteristics of the world-known examples of the results obtained by addressing the nature of the activities in Cyprus between 1916-1974 CMC (Cyprus Mines Corporation) copper mining company built on the island as a first housing It was investigated. With the establishment of CMC in the Lefke Region, the positive/negative effects of the four-category houses, which were produced for the first time with terraces, are remarkable. The transformations of these houses up to the present have been examined and the factors affecting this have been determined. It is seen in all the researches that housing needs change forms according to living conditions, needs, environmental factors, climate and geography, and cultural factors. All these factors and the data obtained from the field study conducted with appropriate techniques in CMC houses in Lefke Region were combined and the transformation of the houses was revealed. For the field study, a few samples from each category were analyzed and analyzed and the two most prominent examples were selected to show the transformations over time. In the scope of the research, field studies were conducted, interviews and photoshoots, surveying and archiving research techniques were used.
