Examination of bus lines in public transport according to quality criteria

Highway transportation,which has a large share in transportation planning,is increasing in importance with the developing and increasing population.Considering the inter-regional bus transportation,which takes place especially in metropolitan cities,the traffic density in home-work,work-home interregional transitions is inevitably difficult,however,it plays an important role in the complaints of both pedestrians using public transport and bus drivers. using puplic transportation.For this reason, different methods have been brought together and examined in order to analyze the situation due to the requests and complaints from residents of the Tahtakale neighborhood of the Avcılar district of Istanbul, which we took as an example in the current road transport evaluation, to the current neighborhood headman and the district municipality. In this study, the route and stop locations of thirteen public transport buses operating under The Istanbul Electric Tramway and Tunnel Enterprises (IETT) and passing through The Tahtakale stop in The Tahtakale district of Istanbul Avcılar district, were used in the Gographical Information Systems (GIS) program.These three transportation planning criteria were compared with each other, broght together spatially and verbally,and interpered by comparing them with The Turkish Standards Institute (TSI), Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) interpreted by comparing with TCRP100-TCRP165 and Rationality Analysis.Spatial analyzes for the determination of the service areas and public transport service level of the stops, bird's eye view and circular service area calculation, as well as the network analysis provided by GIS, were also used.By examining the durations, a more comfortable and accessible public transportation service was aimed.
