Abstract (EN)

Heterocyclic compounds are used in medicine as drugs or as intermediate compounds for the synthesis of drug active ingredients. Diazo degradation reactions are one of the preferred methods for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. Diazo compounds give the metallocarbene intermediate under transition metal catalysis, and the synthesis of different heterocyclic compounds is possible as a result of the reaction of this intermediate with heteroatoms. Rhodium and copper transition metals are often preferred as catalysts due to their high selectivity. In this thesis study, the products formed by the reactions of imines containing different functional groups with ethyl diazoacetate and dimethyl diazomalonate compounds in the presence of rhodium acetate and copper acetylacetonate were investigated. Reaction products are expected to be formed by [2+1] cycloaddition (cyclopropanization), 1,5-electrocyclic ring closure or C-H insertion reactions. However, other formed products were also evaluated and the reasons for their formation were examined. It is assumed that this study will make an important scientific contribution in terms of the potential biological activity of heterocyclic compounds and the application of organic synthesis methods.
