Abstract (EN)
When patients go to a hospital to receive a treatment, they take the first step of sharing their private life secrets with some one that they do not know. So, The secrets they do not share with no one are being recorded by hospital. This case may cause patient to not visiting the hospital for treatment. For these reasons individuals should feel confident that the secrets they shared with medical personnel willl be protected. This study is about the punishment of expose of private secrets of patient in Turkish penal law. In the first part of this study the basic concepts and in the second part of the study the legislative regulations were explained. In third part the penalty of explaining the private data of treatment records are questioned by using crime investigation method. After that the conditions that let the private treatment record to be shared whit the authority are explained. In the final part ideas about the private records of treatment is discussed.
