Abstract (EN)

In this study, a heuristic function that used by A* search algorithm is defined as well as real cost functions for multicriteria route planning. In practice, travel time, distance, safety and fuel consumption criteria are considered for traffic network. Additionally, user preferences and decision-making strategies using Analytic Hierarchy Process and Ordered Weighted Averaging methods have been included in route planning. Using different test environments, multicriteria route planning algorithms are implemented functionality and performance tests. In these tests, models for safety and fuel consumption are proposed as well as current numerical values for travel time and distance that obtained from Tomtom navigation software are used. In tests, multicriteria route planning algorithms are provided up to %55 improvements in terms of memory usage from other route planning algorithms when using a heuristic. Keywords: Intelligent Transportation Systems, Multicriteria Route Planning, Route Planning, A* Search Algorithm, Dijkstra Algorithm, Driver Preferences, Decision-Making Strategy
