Tralleis, an ancient city located in the borders of Aydın province, particularly in Hellenistik and Early Romanian period is one of the leading ancient settlements. The city's artistic activities parallel to the economic and political development, especially in the Hellenistic and Roman period has increased remarkably. So far, the ongoing Tralleis finds from excavations have shown that the active centers of the city, especially in the ceramic field. In the 2007 season, here in the thesis study discussion, the majority of the lamps treated as grave finds in the city's western necropolis area were examined. Ancient tradition of burying the dead reflects the characteristics and beliefs of the Western Necropolis Tralleis is remarkable with the lamp foundlings in the 2006-2007 excavation. Western Necropolis typology finds candles forming the thesis subject area is important in terms of form and chronological features. From Ancient Times until present day, Lamps address a fundamental need for people to have a light, especially it's the most prominent assemblage of graves. In this thesis, the determination of the available data with the help Tralleis made candles of local shops, the form of examples of subgroups produced in these workshops and technically evaluated classification and is aimed dated done that they compared with samples recovered at different centers.
