Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of individuals' academic backgrounds in the fields of commerce and/or IT (internet Technologies) on e-commerce habits in the context of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The focus of the study is to reveal how students' academic backgrounds shape e-commerce shopping behaviors. The study was conducted on students in associate, undergraduate and graduate programs at universities, and e-commerce habits were analyzed in detail. Data analysis was performed using Transact SQL, and the Apriori relationship algorithm was used to investigate relationships between product categories. The algorithm was used to determine strong relationships, especially in binary and ternary relationships. Based on students' shopping preferences, high support, trust and leverage values were calculated between certain product categories, and marketing strategies were suggested based on these findings. This study shows that the Apriori algorithm can be used not only for e-commerce strategies, but also for broader analyses in other sectors. In particular, analyses conducted with more data across different target groups and industries can enable the development of more effective strategies.
