Abstract (EN)

2,4,6-trinitrotoluen (TNT) is an explosive chemical widely used for military purposes. The production, use and elimiate of TNT for military operations caused environmental problems such as soil and groundwater. For this purpose TNT absorption investigated in wastewater in thesis. Activated carbon used as adsorbent obtained from acorn shell activated with ZnCl2 and BET surface area of activated carbon has 1082 m2/g. Inıtial concetration, temperature and time investigated as a parameter and kinetic models specified. TNT adsorption is determined that much more realistic as a Pseude 2nd degree kinetic model. Two different type of adsorption isotherm was investigated, Freundlich and Langmuir, However it was determined to close Freundlich isotherms. According to Pareto analysis via Statistica, time is the active parameter in lineer assumption and temperature is the most active parameter in nonlinear assumption.
