Abstract (EN)

Brick, known as the first building material produced by human beings, is still used in the construction of various buildings and walls today. In terms of occupational health and safety, the hazards in brick production pose great risks for employees. If the necessary precautions are not taken against these risks, the accidents that occur can cause great costs. Detecting these hazards and taking measures to eliminate the risks that may arise afterwards is a necessity both by law and in terms of the sustainability of the working environment in the industry. In the thesis study, it has been stated how the risk assessment studies should be carried out by determining the risks that the workers in the brick production in a selected enterprise are or may be under the influence of, without an audit purpose. 83 risks identified in the study were evaluated by Fine-Kinney, L-Type Matrix, and FMEA methods. In the evaluations made with different risk methods, the risks are scored differently and from these risks; Risk of injury due to open moving parts of machinery, injury or death as a result of vehicle overturning in quarry sites, occupational disease due to dust and noise in the workplace, musculoskeletal disorders as a result of manual handling and bending over work, and injury or death risks as a result of electrical hazards are at the top. has been detected.
