Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to investigate the impact of consumers' technophobic attitudes and intentions to share personal data on their intentions to use social media. The research universe includes consumers in Azerbaijan and Turkey, with a sample size consisting of a total of 500 consumers. The objective of the study is to understand the influence of technophobic attitudes and intentions to share personal data on the intentions to use social media, and to analyze the relationships in this context. The research methodology involves administering surveys to participants and evaluating the collected data through statistical analyses.Consumers in Azerbaijan and Turkey were selected to support the generalizations of this study as the research universe. The sample consists of a total of 500 consumers from both countries. Surveys were used as the data collection tool, and statistical methods were applied as data analysis techniques.The research findings reveal significant insights into how technophobic attitudes and intentions to share personal data impact the intentions to use social media. This study provides a valuable perspective for researchers, businesses, and marketers who seek to enhance their understanding of consumer digital behaviors and make strategic decisions regarding the use of social media platforms.
