Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to obtain clean coal whose seize is between -1.18 and + 0.106 milimetres from waste of Tunçbilek washery by the use of modified flotation column. The amount of the coarse sized fraction in the sample is 20.23 %. The amount of the -0.106 + 0.038 milimetres coal is 5.45 % and the remaining -0.038 is 74.31 %. The content of ash of the coarse seize of coal that is subjected to flotation is 49.91 % and is calori is 2742.24 Kcal/kg. It was given the literature information about Tunçbilek washery and Tunçbilek coal an modified flotation column. It is tried to beneficiate the -1.18+0.425 and -0.425+0.106 milimetres sized fraction seperately inthe flotation works. Gas oil, fuel oil and mixture of them were useal as a collector. It is tried to find the proper reactive amount. Moreover it is searched the effects of the parameters of the hold-up that is effective in the flotation of the coarse sized minerals. It is tried to determine the effective hold-up for each fraction . The mixture of gas oil ( 80%) and fuel oil ( 20%) was determined as a suitable collector mixture, and it?s dosaje was found 25 kg/t. It is determined that the proper hold-up is 7 % fort he - 1.18+0.425 milimetres sized fraction and the proper hold-up is 20 % for the -0.425+0.106 sized fraction. As told above, it can be gained 8.39 % concentrate from the whole coal the result of the beneficiation in the two seperate rank of the upper size of the 0.106 milimetres sized that forms the 20.23 % of the sample. The amount of the ash is about 18.98 % and it?s calori is 5823.94 Kcal/kg in this respect. Keywords : Gas Oil, Hold-up, Calori, Ash, Washery, Fuel Oil, Modified Flotation Column
