Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the blood parameters of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in farms operating in lake cage units and terrestrial ponds in Tunceli. For this purpose, 17 cages and 8 ponds were visited and the lengths of the fishes were measured, their weights were weighed and blood samples were taken. Blood samples were taken to Malatya Turgut Özal University with cold chain in EDTA tubes and analyzed with whole blood counting device. The average length of fish in cage farms 271.53 ± 33.51 mm and weight 287.82 ± 89.18 g, the length of fish in the pond fish 252.16 ± 26.79 mm and 170.58 ± 64.34 g were determined. When the length-weight relationships of the fish were examined, it was determined that the fish produced by cage enterprises, pond enterprises and all the enterprises in the province showed negative allometric growth according to "b" values (1,883; 2,2045; 2,1384). According to the R2 values, the relationship between the length and weight of the fish was weak in cage enterprises (0.4937), strong in pond enterprises (0.843) and weak throughout the province (0.5351) was observed. Blood values of fish in cage units were found to have numerically greater values than those in pond units. Statistical differences were found between all blood parameters except MCV and MCHC values (p <0.05).
