Abstract (EN)

In this work Nickel has been covered by the chemical method, the ceramic-metal complex material production by using %70 tungsten carbide (WC) powder and tungsten carbide (WC-Ni) ceramic metal supplies that are provided by the elastic constant via the method of ultrasound velocity. In this work %30 (Nickel Chloride) has been used to provide tungsten carbide at the dimension 10 , and also to provide nickel in the covering bath. Provided powder were placed in a 30 mm diameter mold and pressed using a hydraulic pres at a pressure of 360 bar. Samples were sintered at temperatures of 1000°C, 1100°C, 1200°C and 1300°C with Ar gas atmosphere in tube furnace. After sintering process mean grain size analysis have been realized by having been done SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and EDX (Enerji Açılımlı X-ışını Spektrometresi) analysis. In the measuring ultrasonic longitudinal velocity 2 and 5 Mhz transducers, ultrasonic transverse velocity 1 and 5Mhz transducers have been used. Young Modulus (E), elastic constant coefficient, has been calculated with providing longitudinal and transeverse velocity. Also, for every sample densities were determined. Young Modulus- mean grain size, longitudinal velocity- mean grain size, transverse velocity- mean grain size graphics have been prepared with the help of these datas. This work has shown relation of ultraonic velocity-mean grain size and elastic constant- ultrasonic velocity of samples. Shortly, it shows that with covered or without covered samples, results increase with the ultrasonic velocity of Young Modulus. Especially this increase has confirmed on the sample which are sintered 1300°C.
