Faruk ÖzgüvenIn this thesis study, hydro-turbine speed control was achieved for hydroelectric powerplant by using neuro-fuzzy control method.Fuzzy logic and neural network that are base of neuro-fuzzy control method wereexamined. Then Fuzzy logic control and neural network control were examined. ANFISmethod was chosen as neuro-fuzzy control method. ANFIS structure and ANFIS learningprocedure were examined.Hydrolic system paremeters were examined and neuro-fuzzy control method wasapplied for hydro-turbine speed control.KEYWORDS : Neural network, fuzzy, ANFIS, turbine, hydroelectric, generator
