Abstract (EN)

Obesity is increasing al over the world and in Turkey. Obesity is one of the most important public health problems. Obesity is a major cause although many reasons on the basis of lifestyle. Individuals in the treatment of obesity can be applied to many methods. This study of health personnel as Turgut Ozal Medical Center nurses wrong diet revealing behavior and related factors, to reveal the relationship between healthy lifestyle behaviors in scale behavior. Turgut Ozal Medical Center, 816 nurses are working, it is estimated that 252 people need to be reached by the Power analysis. Polyclinics, clinics, surgery rooms and intensive care nurse as 4 groups with stratified sampling from the roster (with the number of staff who have the day considered to be 750) questionnaires were distributed on every third person on the list. Of respondents were %81,7 female and %18,3 male. Persons between ages was 20 and 50, and their average age 31.2±6,1. Diet products (light products) were use rate (sometimes and permanent) %23. Among the reasons not to use a diet product that is not useful to think in the first row (%31,8). The most consumed dietary product has been found that dietary biscuits. %7.9 of the nurse's surveyed sweeteners, vitamins and minerals, nutritional supplements for weight loss is to use products such as herbal weight loss pills and slimming tea. Of those surveyed was %1.2 weaker, at %57.6 of normal weight, %34.1 overweight, %7,1 obese. Individuals who eat fast food obesity rates were significantly higher (p<0.05). The nurses who participated in the research were Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Mean Scale Score 119,82. Nurses highest score were in Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors subscale 24.80 in the self-realization, the lowest score 14.17 taken in exercise subgroup.
