Abstract (EN)
Social media, which became a part of daily life in 2000s, became an important concept in tourism sector as in other sectors. The experiences of the tourists, the level of sharing on social media and the factors that cause these shares constitute the problem statement of the study. This study aims to measure the level of sharing of these experiences on social media by consumers participating in touristic activities. For this purpose, local tourists coming to Bodrum for tourism activities constitute the universe of this study. In this study, which was chosen as a data collection technique, it was seen that the level of sharing of the experiences of local tourists on social media varied according to the income level, occupational group and education level. In addition, it is seen that the tourists visit the social media sites in order to make the decision, but it is seen that these visits are not enough and the enterprises should convince the tourists at this point
