Supply and demand factors affecting the destination selection of tourists: An analytical and empirical application on the visitation of Arab tourists to Trabzon provience

Before people visit a place, there is a certain reason, purpose or something in their minds about that place that attracts them. The purpose of this study, Turkey, especially in recent times, a majör filming location for the Middle East Trabzon / Uzungöl of research with the perspective of when Arab tourists to visit and reveals that influential Factors such as what they pick up this destination and try to understand. Furthermore, the study also provides important information that may be of interest to other destinations for Arab tourists in Turkey. In the first part of the work, information about tourism concept and destination concepts are given. In the second part, we explain supply and demand Factors affecting demand for destinations. The last part is the application part. The Arab tourists who came to Uzungöl were questioned by formal interview method and they were asked why they preferred Trabzon Uzungöl. This information has been evaluated in the light of why Arab Turists prefer Uzungöl what effect they have for them. Qualitative methods have been used in this study. Talks were held for foreign tourists who created the tourism claim. In Uzungöl, where the same format calls we made for tourism, it was adhered to the managers and employees of the hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops. On this issue, the differences between tourism supply and demand are revealed
