Tourists photograph pull behavior: example of Istanbul

The photographing behavior of tourists has become an important market in terms of tourism enterprises. In this thesis study, the demographics, nationalist, photographing habits, photographing motivations and behaviors of domestic and foreign tourists coming to Istanbul were examined. Within the scope of the thesis study, an area study was conducted on the type of screening that was collected by the questionnaire form of data on domestic and foreign tourists coming to Istanbul. On data obtained from 250 domestic and 182 foreign tourists; More than half of domestic and foreign tourists are coming to Istanbul are male, most undergraduate graduates and we see that more than half of the local and foreign participants have visited Istanbul before. Domestic tourists stay in Istanbul for 5 days while foreign tourists stay for about 5 days. In the thesis study, the motivation of local and foreign tourists coming to Istanbul; strengthening of experience, exhibiting talent, recognition of tourist places, helping others under the headings It could not be investigated. On the other hand, motivations of tourists taking photos; tourist destinations, tourism enterprises, brochures and has a positive effect on tourism images.
