Özet (EN)

Settlements experience population movements as a result of different dynamics. Economic, social or cultural reasons can be attractive or driving forces for population movements in cities. It is known that one of the biggest factors causing migration is employment opportunities. The desire of societies to live in better conditions, their motivation to receive education, work and social life under better conditions leads to the phenomenon of migration. Migration can occur over time or continuously. In this context, it is seen that the migration experienced depending on the periods is conceptualized as seasonal migration. It is one of the conclusions reached as a result of various studies that economic reasons lie on the basis of seasonal migration, and individuals migrate periodically with the desire to be employed. In order to evaluate labor migration in itself, it is necessary to group and analyze it according to employment types. In this context, while the study was conducted, labor migration data belonging to agriculture, tourism and construction sectors were obtained and the flow of tourism-based labor force between Turkey's provinces and districts was determined proportionally. Based on the data obtained, the provinces located on the coastline of Turkey and in which the tourism sector has an important place in the economy were determined, and in which provinces and districts the labor flow took place in these provinces was examined. The study was carried out using geographic information systems software.
