Abstract (EN)
In this study, studies on health tourism in Turkey and policies for opening abroad have been examined. In the study, general tourism activities, types of tourism, economic contributions, development of health tourism, types and health tourism activities in Turkey and the goals of Turkey opening to the world in health tourism have been evaluated. Having an important place in the world economy, the health tourism sector has started to take its place in the sector by developing rapidly in Turkey. Turkey has been working in the field of health tourism for many years and has made progress in the field of tourism with state incentives and supports and has become a candidate to become a country with promise in health tourism. In the study, health tourism is seen to be important for both the world and the Turkish economy.
