Abstract (EN)
In this study, the crime of directing suicide in Turkish Criminal Code has been examined. Despite the action of committing suicide itself is not regarded as a crime, this crime is sui generis, since the actions of those who participate in the suicidal action as an accomplice are regulated as an independent type of crime. Since separate crimes were mentioned in 3rd and 4th paragraphs of the Article 84 of Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237, which regulates the crime of directing suicide within this scope, it is also important to examine these provisions as well.
