Abstract (EN)

Since the begining of the XIX th century, The importance of sea trade with the developing world has increased. After World War II, it happened an increase in the number of the countries of the world. In the new system, to set the rules about the use of the seas between the states in United Nation System, two conventions signed in 1958 and 1982.Türkiye did not find some clauses of the conventions to its own benefit thats way Türkiye did not sign these conventions. On the other hand it used some clauses from the convantions in its laws.There are some disagreements between the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and Turkish Laws and Turkish Legal System. For the solution of this conflict, Turkish Legal System and the other agreements which Türkiye signed before, has to be known really very well.The purpose of this study is to establish a bridge between the Turkish Legal System and International Legal System and show a path to the official authorities for some cases which they can meet on the sea.
