Abstract (EN)

Turkish Literature Magazine is a magazine of ideas and arts that is followed by those interested in literature and art. The magazine, which has continued its existence to the present day, began its publication life on January 15, 1972 under the leadership of Ahmet Kabaklı, took a break between 1975 and 1977, and resumed its monthly publication with its 39th issue in January 1977. The magazine's first article, titled "Exiting", written by Ahmet Kabaklı, is the manifesto of Turkish Literature Magazine, and this article emphasizes the idea that the magazine adopts a nationalist and conservative discourse. The Turkish Literature magazine, which sees the gap between the old and the new, the contemporary and the classic as a problem, adopts a traditionalist attitude in order to put an end to this gap. The magazine includes teh works of both well-known names of Turkish and world literature and poets and writers who have just stepped into the literary life. It introduces different poems and stories to the reader in each issue. In addition to literature and art, the magazine includes articles on curtural, social and historical subjects. Another important aspect of the magazine is that in addition to publishes articles about writers; poets, novelists and storytellers. These articles remain in the pages of the monthly magazine. The main purpose of our study is to identify dozens of articles on poets, novelists, storytellers and their works in the magazine pages. Hundreds of articles have been publishedin the magazine about Turkish poetry, stories, novels and their authors. With this study, researchers will be able to see whether there are articles on the subject they are interested in in the magazine. Another purpose of the study is to reveal the contribution of the Turkish Literature magazine to Turkish literature with the articles written about poets, novelists, storytellers and their works, and to give an idea about the content and qualities of the articles. The study covers the 401-500th issues of the journal. In this context, first the articles related to the subject were determined, then the articles were evaluated under certain headings. The articles are listed in order of the journal issue, by author names and by subject. Other studies can be conducted on the Turkish Literature journal.
