Abstract (EN)
The research will cover social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and address examples of copyright infringement on them and current legal protection issues. It will also examine existing national and international copyright laws and related legal regulations, and assess their implementation and non-compliance on social media platforms. The role of social media in copyright and related rights infringement, its relationship with content producers and rights holders, and the responsibilities of these platforms will be examined. This study will compare the legal regulations and practices of different countries in the field of copyright infringement on social media platforms and identify international similarities and differences. At the end of the study, recommendations for improving copyright and related rights protection on social media platforms will be presented and summarized.
