The labor rights of foreigners in Turkish law

The subject of this thesis is the labor rights of foreigners in Turkey. Employment is the right to foreigners in Turkey as well as Turkish citizens in terms of legislation and international conventions. In this study; the historical improvement of the labor rights of foreigners in Turkish law, the regulations about the labor rights and the foreigners taking place in the constitutions both at the time of Ottoman Empire and during Republic period , international contracts including labor right and the affects of Covid-19 period to those are mentioned. In addition, it is revealed and examined that right-to-work laws in legislation of other countries have resemblance to regulations in Turkish Law. Furthermore, the regulations of the labor rights of foreigners in current Turkish law, the types of work permit that the foreigners can apply to and the the exceptional work permit types, work permit evalution criteria, the importance of work permit issue, work permit excemption, the work prohibitions of foreigners and the results of not complying with the terms and conditions are deeply examined.
