Turkish woman and woman's movement in the Turkish Woman Way journal

Our thesis study focusing on the position of women in the Republican period was formed by sources related to forth analyzing the women's movement of the period through the "Turkish Women's Path" magazine, which was published between 1925-1927. The Turkish author and activist feminist Nezihe Muhiddin's struggle to obtain the political rights of the women, and the reflection of the activities of the Women's People's Party and the Turkish Women's Association on the Turkish Women's Way were sources related to forth analyzed. In line with this study, the sources of the journal, sources related to forth women's magazines of the period, related articles and theses were used as the source. "Turkish Woman's Path magazine", which was published by Nezihe Muhiddin and gained an important place in the Turkish press, aimed to raise awareness among women within the scope of the women's movement. The magazine announced that the Women's People's Party, which was established by the women on the way to the struggle for political rights of the period, was closed to the Turkish Women's Union and was the publication organ of the association. The Turkish Women's Union followed the world women's movement through the journal, shared its knowledge with the reader and aimed to reach more women. The magazine, whose names could not be reached, ended the broadcasting life of Nezihe Muhiddin, founder of the Women's People's Party and the Turkish Women's Association, by the Turkish Women's Association.
