Abstract (EN)
Migration is one of the crucial problems of this period. There are several reasons for these migrations having continued since human existence. There are several kinds of migrations such as obligatory, voluntary, permanent and temporary. Economy, social life, geography, religion and politics cause these kinds of migrations. Both immigrant-receiving countries and emigrant countries have positive or negative effects, economic or social changes are occurred in both sides. Migration phenomenon influences society in the fields of literature as well as in the fields of social-economic. As result of these immigrants, multi-lingual and multi-cultural society has been formed in these immigrant-receiving countries. This work, intellectualizing thoroughly in terms of multi-lingual and multi-cultural, investigates the contributions of Turkish writers migrating to Germany since 1961 up to the present. To sum up; this thesis comprises these purposes: • to give general information about the reasons and consequences of migration phenomenon. • to investigate the reasons and historical process of labor migrations from Turkey to Germany since 1961. • to investigate the contributions of Turkish writers to German Literature migrating to Germany. As a conclusion; this work has tried to reveal the contributions of the first generation contributing to German literature positively and following generations (second and third) in terms of language and cultural and also it has investigated Migration Literature created by the migrations from Turkey to Germany for 50 years.
