Artists reflect the deepness of their personality with their art. When the art begins to take shape with artist's style and personality, it begins to be more expressing. The fundamental element of the surrealism is the emotion. Thus new trends art started to dominate Turkish Art. One of this trends is Surrealism. With surrealism and fantastic elements, Turkish artists have made big steps in improving modern art. The important things are dreams and secrets of the subconscious in this movement. Its purpose is to save the subconscious from the mind's yoke and get to know the man better. It aims to lead the man to cross his limits. Artists who try to bring man's inner world and fantasies on the forefront are interpreting nature with different meanings. Although the effecting trend is destructive, Surrealism is not a destructive act for the artists. It is a form of self expression. Turkish artists created this effect by examining the Western Art.
