Abstract (EN)

Throughout history, it is seen that societies have acted in accordance with an ideal. The development of communities and the continuation of their structure by becoming a state can be achieved with the idea of nationalism. When we look at the history of Turkish society, it is possible to say that its traditions and customs have moved forward. It is seen that there are factors such as religion, nationalism, family, morality in Turkish society. In Turkish society, the roles of men and women can be different as in other societies. However, in Turkish society, women have always been respected and not separated from men. In general, within the scope of Turkish Political Life, within the framework of Turkish nationalism, which is an active element in real politics and tradition of thought, in the thought of "Turkish Nationalism", the subject of view on women will be the subject of examination. The place and importance of the concept of woman in this thought is the general subject of the thesis. The general purpose of the thesis is that there are deficiencies in the view of women on the basis of studies in Turkish nationalism and that these deficiencies are eliminated. It aims to examine the female figures based on the approaches that the female figure is not prominent in the thought of Turkish nationalism. In terms of importance, the thesis is important because the subject has been handled superficially from a realpolitik point of view and there is also the lack of a scientific study. The subject of the thesis is important due to the lack of scientific studies. The female figures examined in terms of Turkish political life will shed light on future studies. With this thesis, the examination of women in terms of political participation will have an important result. By making a general determination on the subject, interpretative qualitative research and literature review method will be used. A general hypothesis on the subject will be formed and the accuracy and falsity of this hypothesis will be tested with a special study. In this context, critical thoughts will be mentioned and a conclusion will be reached in connection with the hypothesis. Historical analysis will be made through the concepts of 'Turkism', 'Nationalism', 'Turanism', 'Idealism', 'Asena'. "Turkish Nationalism" started to become a real political power after 1912. Kemalist nationalism came to the point in the 1920s. During the Republican period, nationalisms showed themselves in different ways of thinking. After the 1940s, during the transition to multi-party life, Turkish nationalism began to be active in the real political movement as a movement. The examination of the woman factor in Turkish nationalism cannot be considered independently of the influence of women in Turkish political life, but it is also true that the nationalist ideology has a special point of view towards women. This point of view will be presented in the study. "Turkish Nationalism" has a general meaning. The thesis is limited to the political movement that calls itself "Turkish Nationalist" in real politics without including different kinds of nationalisms and became a party in that way. In the 1940s, when this movement began, the discourse of women will be emphasized. Key Terms: Nation, Nationalism, Turkish Nationalism, Gender, Women
