Abstract (EN)
This dissertation deals with the quorum in joint stock companies' general as-semblies according to Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102. In this thesis, which consists of three parts, theoretical aspect and application of quorum provisions are explained. Violation of quorum norms is examined in detail as well. Pursuant to the method adopted in the thesis, provisions of TCC and the app-roach of the Court of Appeal with regards to quorum issue are examined and analy-sed comperatively when needed. De lege ferenda solutions are presented especially in the conclusion part.
