Abstract (EN)
Turkey which is located in the intersection of maritime lines on eart and which has 2949 kilometers of land borders and 8333 kilometers coas line is a country of peninsula. Turkey is like a bridge connecting Asia and Europe. Besides, the connection of Turkey with middle East and coucasus and it's location an the valuable trade routes shows that Turkey has a strategic location in terms of sea and shipping trade. Turkey has a great economic potential since Turkey is located in a region where international clashes of interests were experienced in respect of it's location.
