Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the skills of understanding and producing structurally different sentence types between children with typically developing and developmental language disorders and between the ages of 4 and 5 in children with typically developing. The study included 32 children with typically developing and 10 developmental language disorders between the ages of 4-6. The sentence comprehension tool consists of 33 short stories, the sentence production tool consists of 33 repetitive production and 33 spontaneous production, in total 66 short stories. For these purposes, the order of different sentence types in children aged 4 and 5 with typically developing and developmental language disorders was examined and compared between groups. As a result of the study, it has been observed that children with typically developing and developmental language disorders differ in understanding and production order of structurally different sentence types. Moreover, it was concluded that spontaneous production was insufficient in all groups than repetitive production.
