Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to demonstrate the normative values of diadocokinetic rate of Turkish speaking individuals between the ages of 20-60 and compare them with different types of dysarthria. Randomly selected 60 healthy individuals were divided into 20-39 and 40-60 age groups. Ten dysarthric individuals, 3 hypokinetic and 7 spastic, were included in the study. Diadocokinetic rates norm values of Turkish speaking healthy individuals were presented in Praat written in terms of both alternating motion rate and sequential motion rate and a comparison was made with other languages in the literature. According to the results of the study, the diadokinetic rates of Turkish-speaking individuals between the ages of 20-60 were generally compatible with other languages in the literature. It was found that the diadokokinetic rate decreased with age but did not change according to gender. In the diadocokinetic rate data of the healthy group, the production of / pa / and / ta / was found similarly, while / ka / production had the lowest and / pataka / production had the highest speed. Diadocokinetic rate of the dysarthric group was found to be lower than the healthy group. Among the dysarthria groups, it was observed that the spastic dysartic group had a lower diadocokinetic rate than the hypokinetic dysarthric group.
