Humor in Turkish masnawis

Humor is telling about several qualities of happenings, people and situations for get laugh and amuse. Humor has a close relationship with satire and irony. It has been analyzed with satire in Classical Turkish Literature studies. This thesis is consisting of three parts. Humor is being analyzed with its related concepts in first part. Also it's been informed about humor's progress in Turkish, Arabic, Persian, German, English, Russian and French literature history. Masnawi is being approached in second part. And it's been dwelled on masnawi's matter in Turkish, Arabic and Persian literature history. In third part, 59 masnawi, which was wrote in XI-XIX.th century, is been categorised about subjects with their humorous couplets. This study's aim is revealing poets in Classical Turkish Literature tradition are impressing in their society.
