The words got into our Turkish glossary from folk language (a-g)

The lexicology of Turkce Sozluk whose 11th edition is being done has reached 122.423. Some part of this lexicology is constituted of loanwords from folk language. Through seeking the origin of this lexicology quoted from folk language which was produced by scanning current eleven edition, it will enable to go through the specifications of lexis such as listing, signification, the usage prevalence of the words in folk. The knowledge of which language the detected loanwords came from or by means of which intermediary language these come to Turkish. Also, it will enable to determine common words or culture existence among neighbour languages. In our study, the comparison of the words used in standard language and folk language in terms of phonetics and semantics is also a significant acquisition for Linguistics. It is clear that the evaluation of these words from Old Turkic period on in terms of etymological, semantics and phonetics by using the current information and resources of Turkology efficiently and systematically will raise the usability and scientific level of Turkce Sozluk. Furthermore, comparative linguistics datas produced in our study is considered that the samples quoted from Tarama Sozlugu and Derleme Sozlugu will also contribute to dialect studies on etymology studies. In this study the words between the letters a-g is examined. In introduction section of our study, information about aim and method of study is given.In conclusion section, our suggests concerning to some words and meanings are exist.In index section, the words whose origin searched are initially sorted.In the index of words belongs to other languages, borrowed words are shown separately. With this study, the necessity of permanent updating the words' origin information section taking part in Glossaries is indicated.
