In the qualitative dimension of the study, student views on digital stories were recorded. Dependent groups t-test was conducted for pre-test/post-test comparison. Content analysis of the items was performed to determine the details of the digital stories. As a result of the research, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the writing motivation scale applied to the experimental group. In terms of Instructional Materials Motivation and student interviews, it was seen that the experimental group liked composing digital stories and found them interesting. Students in the experimental group enjoyed the tasks and them were found motivated, while there were few undecided and unmotivated students.
